Warren Sharp, a young guitar prodigy. Local stellar drummers Tim Rae and Dan Chegash also filled in when a bigger group was called for.
I‘ve been blessed to record and support on stage some of my idols. Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson would have to top the list. Chris asked me to open for them in Toronto at Hugh‘s Room for several nights and it was a highlight of my career and life. Al Perkins playing pedal steel guitar on my CDs was quite amazing too. What a player, what a gentleman. Former member of Mannassas, The Flying Burrito Bros., and a Rolling Stones sideman.
My third album, “Ghosts“, was released in January of 2010 and
immediately hit #5 on the Euro Americana Chart making me want to retire as I assumed I could never do any better(lol). Fortunately I didn‘t retire and continued touring with 2 more visits to the UK, hitting The Bitter End in NYC, and returning to the West Coast including Los Angeles for the first time in 16 years. „Mister Tell Me ‚Bout The Great Depression“, a ditty about the present world economic woes, received a lot of airplay and attention from this volume of work as did „Still She Thanks God“, a tune about my Mom. I also picked up my pen again in 2010 and began writing yet another album.
