enclosure combined. The cover can be rolled back completely away from the pool or on breezy days sections can be kept in place to use as a wind break. In poor weather one of the lockable sections can be lifted to permit entry, leaving the other sections in place and allowing swimming whilst the pool is still almost fully covered. Energy saving and functional, the Abrisud is a well engineered and comprehensive pool cover.
The cover can be installed directly onto the floor; wall mounted or attached to an existing wall and can be fully or partially retractable and well as fixed. Summit Leisure are the UK distributor for the
French manufacturer Venus Ondine. The enclosures are sold in the UK under the Algarve brand name. A new range of full height enclosures has been added from the same manufacturers. The static enclosure unit has a sliding roof and multiple options for sliding doors which provide a perfect static structure over a pool but still provides the facility for the pool to be opened up on sunny warm days.
It is this flexibility which is capturing the imagination of pool owners. The increase in popularity of low enclosures has also been notable recently and it is the third part of the enclosures market. Because this style of enclosure permits under cover swimming as well as offering reduced energy costs and maintenance and increased safety, it has become a seriously considered alternative to traditional safety covers.
