hen did you decide the Casino industry was going to be your career, and what were your reasons?

It really was not a considered decision to enter the casino business. I was working as a waitress when a friend who was working for Mecca Sportsman at The Casanova Club mentioned they were looking for staff and suggested I apply. The world of casinos was totally unknown to me but had the aura of glamour and excitement.

Would you recommend the Casino industry as a career and if so, what are the qualities that you consider important for success in this industry? I would strongly recommend the casino industry for anyone who appreciates travel, excitement and desires to reach the top of their profession based on merit and hard work. Anyone entering the business now needs to have good maths skills, the ability to stay calm and perform under pressure and above all, they must have good “people skills”.
