The load capacity of each single suspension, except for the perimeter ones, is given by the following formula:
P = R – (Pb x Is) – (Qc x Ib x Is) Where: P=load capacity of the suspension in Kgf or daN. R=10 Kgf (approx. 10 daN) max capacity guaranteed by the suspension with a safety rating of 5. Pb=0.8 Kgf/m (approx. 0.8 daN/m) weight of one metre of track. Is=centre distance between the suspensions in m. Qc=weight of one square metre of false ceiling in Kgf/m2
or daN/m2
Ib=(a+0.0334) centre distance between tracks in m. a=lwidth of false ceiling in m.
.
Indicate that the weight of luminaires to be fitted must be evenly spread over the section of track, of length Is, under the calculated suspension.
Portion of false ceiling weighing on the single suspension (excluding the perimeter ones)
