Herb the 0at subconscious

Hi there all you Cats and Kitties out there in Herb The Cat fan land! Once again I come to you with a wacky concept from the new scientists and Quantum Physicists who are now backing up metaphysics. Yeah, that’s right, metaphysics, which means beyond the physical is turn- ing out to be the basis for the physical. This month we are going to cut through the crap and just tell it like it is in the metaphysical world. The beginning of metaphys- ics is in your subconscious mind which is connected to everyone’s subconscious mind by way of the collective unconscious.

This was postulated by Carl Jung the father of modern day psychiatry. Yep, ole father Carl blamed everything on the subconscious just like the metaphysicians. Did you ever listen to Wayne Dyer, Deepok Chopra or Abraham – Hicks? Yea, their main thrust is about re – programming the subconscious mind. Just like Carl Jung, they recog- nize that the answer for real change is right there and not in your conscious mind. Did you ever see a stage hypnotist make someone act like a chicken? My question is “Why do they not make people act like Cats”? Well, the answer is obvious; a Cat never does what you ask them to, so hypnosis or not, we just don’t care what you want and so there is no way to tell if someone is acting like a Cat or not! So now that I have talked a lot, I’m sure you are asking “Herb, what’s the point”? “What are you get- ting at”? Well, I’m getting at the subconscious mind and why it’s so important and what you do about it. It’s so important because that’s where you were programmed when you were just a small Kitten. Your parents told you that there are just so many mice and not enough to go around! That’s no more true than you have to have a job and work hard to have a nice home with lots of ser- vants. I, Herb The cat am here to tell you that what one Cat can do, all Cats can do. I live in a 5,000 square foot house with lots of fresh spring water that my servant humans bring and I get whatever kind of food I want by refusing to eat what I don’t like and the children of my servants give me massages all day long. Why they even fight over who is next to give me a massage. To change you to be able to manifest what I have received from the Universe, count backwards from 100 to 0 and then repeat the following affirmations 100 times, 3 times a day. There are always more than enough mice – There are always more than enough cans of tuna – There are always more than enough nap times – email me and I will send you the balance of the affirmations. Yes, you CAN have it all!

CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Poetry Corner Il lusions

Is it a sick manifestation of ego to believe

that Infinity is constantly stretching forth to touch me?

Are the leaves that flurry suddenly at the road’s curve a subtle caress?

Are the raindrops that litter my lashes from a heavy grey sky really kisses?

Is the push of the wind a message?

Is the animal’s transfixed gaze creation’s pause?

I feel the sole possessor of my mood, and then a squirrel fractures the silence with scattered leaves,

the scent of honeysuckle pierces my mind with power,

invisible beings that live on my skin prick my serenity with invisible thorns.

Does the infinite in me…of me…is me…pen- dulum another way – balancing my (con- scious? Unconscious?) swing?

From where does the question even arise…

my yearning to discover the inherent divinity of life and living?

Being is so much more to me than being…yet it is only being.

Endless Pointless Centerless

Inseparable because there are no boundaries in infinity – only illusions of finite.

Like me. By Lorrie Tabar
