Ahhh February. The month of romance and hope and expectation, with Valentine’s day just around the corner, the snow drops show- ing the first signs of spring, and on top of all that, we have the highlight of the month — — “National chip week.” ( See page 6.) Talking of the first signs of life, we are all looking forward to seeing a spectacular display of the Purple crocuses marking the Rotary Club’s world wide battle against Polio. See page 18. With romance and flowers in mind we have a few pages on wedding things, 10 & 11, for those people considering tying the knot. Last Month’s Schools drawing competition gave us quite a shock at the high level of response with votes flooding in with as many as 50 on one day alone. Wow!!! We have details on page 3. Enjoy.
