got the Warriors on the score- board first with a 13-yard scram- ble for a touchdown late in the first quarter. Tanner Brookshire added a score for the defense near the end of the quarter, in- tercepting a Roberson pass and going 47 yards for the score. Roberson soon scored into


the second quarter with a 14- yard run by Malik Griffin. Trey Clark soon fought back for the Warriors with a 21-yard touch- down reception from Brown.

again later in the quarter with a 16-yard touchdown pass, and Erwin held a commanding 26- 10 lead at the break. Roberson opened the second


half moving the ball down the field, but was beset with penal- ties. Brookshire made his second pick of the night that teammate Max Eatmon returned for a touchdown. Brown finished the scoring in the third quarter with a 26-yard touchdown scramble. Erwin (7-2) will play Fri-


day (Oct. 22) at North Bun- combe (2-6). Kickoff will be at 7:30pm.
