Jimbo Humphreys and BJ Whiskey won the

overall championship at the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse Show held at the State Fair of TX October 23-24.

Southwest QHA&#x2019;s October 23-24 show was held

in Las Cruces, NM, and AQHA all-around champions were Tartita (2-open/Josh Armstrong/Hoddy and Donna Comyford) and So Different (2-y/Mykal Jensen).

At High Sky Breeders&#x2019; Assoc&#x2019;s October 23-24

season on October 30. 2010 year-end all-around cham- pions were Bryson Bankston (13&u/Sonny May Eye), Sage Counts (y/Preacher), and Jenny Williams (nov- am/Filits Midnight). Halter high-point champions were Alexis Atkinson (gelds/Rocket), and Kathie Dyer (mares/Penny Super Bars).

Number 8-ranked Baylor University defeated

Number 7 Kansas State 12-6 on November 19. Baylor riders Taylor Brown (eq-of) and Ashley Garza (horse- manship) both earned MVPs.

Number 1 ranked Texas A&M University

equestrian teamended the fall season undefeated, with a final win over Kansas State on November 20. Aggies earning MVPs were Lisa Chafee (fences, flat), Carey Nowacek (horsemanship), and Emma Meyers (reining).

New Mexico State University finished the fall sea-

son on November 20, with a 9-6 win over Fresno State. NMSU&#x2019;s MVP-earners were Emily McConnell (eq-of), Megan Gould (horsemanship), and Katie Goodwin (reining).

Louisiana Stock HA&#x2019;s 2010 finals competition

was held November 20-21 in DeRidder, drew 52 con- testants and 244 total entries. Overall champions were Larry Rutledge (op/Taz), Christy Harris (np/Trouble), Connie Cook (jr-h/Taylors Shiner), Judy Weisgerber (am/High Brow Hercules), Peter Wolfe (nov/Shake), and Rayeann Odom (y/Smooth N Santastic).
