WestTexasA&MUniversity’shorse judging team

ended 2010with a first-place finish at theNRHANational Championship December 2-3 in Oklahoma City. The contest featured 14 teams and 70 contestants.WTAMU garnered 4,376 points to best second-placeTexasA&M University’s 4,356 points.WTAMU had 3 members in the top ten in individual placings –ChristaForsberg (first), HillaryFinck (4th), andDaltonCoberly (9th).Other team memberswereKristenBrown, EmilyBruehl,RenChia- petta, Lindsay Raften, Sarah Schmidt, Katie Seals, Chynna Tinney, and Elizabeth Zadel. This latest win marks the university’s 10th time out of the past 11 years to be named the championNRHAteam.Dr. John Pipkin, professor of animal science and coach of the horse judg- ing team, said, “I am extremely proud of and for this team.”
