Texas AgriLife Extension. Live train- ing demonstrations will begin at 7 p.m. on the 24th, focusing on starting young horses. Starting at 8:30 a.m. on the 25th, there will be presentations and live demonstrations on various topics of interest to horse owners, in- cluding health care, nutrition and feed- ing management, selection, evaluation and ending with basic and advanced training techniques for performance horses. Pre-registration is preferred. Reg-


istration includes printed materials, light breakfast and noon meal. Pro- gram begins at 8 a.m. with registra- tion. The cost for each of these Equine Owner Education Workshops is $40 and online registration will be ac- cepted through February 13. Late on- line registration is $50.00 and will be accepted from February 14-18. Regis- tration at the door is $60.00 per work- shop. You may register for both workshops for a total of $70 prior to February 13, or $90 from February 14- 18. Registration at the door for both workshops together is $100.
