Art of Allowing Evolves at Journey Arts

his month marks the first anniversary for Gwen Peterson’s Art of Allowing group utilizing the Journey Arts building in


Naples as its home. Prior to last December, she facilitated the group, which meets each Monday at 6:30 p.m., for two years at other locations. “This past year has been quite an unfolding, as the space


has kind of evolved into a gathering place for a number of other teachers, events and workshops, as well,” she explains. Other regular gatherings at various days and times include


Cathy Blair’s crystal bowl meditations, journaling groups and rebirthing breathwork sessions. The facility has a labyrinth for peaceful and serene walking when the space is not being used for classes or other events. Also, Peterson recently be- gan offering such items as incense, candles, CDs and Earth’s Aura jewelry.
