In the bedrooms, a pergola design has


inspirated the four-poster bed frames in white wood. Two-toned, symmetrically-patterned headboards evoke a knot garden. Louvred wood bedroom cabinets are designed to convey the notion of a beehive. These organic forms and natural colours


feel at home with the Cotswold stonework, giant fireplaces and wooden floors typical of a country house of this type and size. French doors and panelled windows frame the picture perfect views outside. Inside, subtle shades of creamy white, pale grey, taupes and oatmeals lead the eye from one public area to the next. Across the ground floor of the hotel, The Study, Hearth, Bar and Potager restaurant flow fluidly on from one another. Specific areas are defined, yet an open feel is achieved throughout, thanks to the
