1982, supplying IT and computer systems to the UK property, banking and mortgage valuation sectors to successfully grow the business to become the market leading provider of mortgage valuation and survey software solutions.


His last project before selling


Quest to Landmark was to develop Q-guard, a fraud detection and prevention tool that supports the industry in combating fraud and recently won the Mortgage Finance Gazette Award for best Anti-fraud measure. Tom was previously Chairman


at the Association of Home Information Pack Providers and is now a non-Executive Director of Landmark.

Ckd galbraith adds to residential team


CKD Galbraith has expanded its residential sales team in Ayr, following the recent


amalgamation of Donalds Chartered Surveyors. The firm has appointed Robert


Taylor, an experienced professional who has been working in the hotel investment and property sales market with Colliers International. Robert is from a farming


background in Lanarkshire where he started his career working as an auctioneer and chartered surveyor in the rural sector. Robert will be working alongside Tom Donald formerly of Donalds Chartered Surveyors and now a consultant at CKD Galbraith, providing a wide variety of professional advice to farmers and landowners as well as assisting businesses secure lending facilities through the agricultural mortgage corporation.
