Weaverville Doris Bradley Honeycutt will


celebrate her 90th birthday on Oct. 1.


She was born to Ralph Plummer


Bradley and Della Gosnell Bradley in Woodfin, where she attended school and grew up. She worked hard and received the Best Citizen award as well as being given the honor of Salutatorian in her gradu- ating class in 1938. She is the wife of the late Rev.


Horace Honeycutt. Tey had six children: Kenneth of Greenville, Tenn.; Kermit of Burnsville; Rick- ey, Gerald and Betty Byrd, all of Weaverville; and Gary, who is de- ceased. She has 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren (and expect- ing her 13th great grandchild in March 2011) and eight step-grand and great grandchildren. She always puts God first in her
