TRAILER LIVING How to do it

Have it ever crossed your mind to live full time with your partner in your RV travel trailer? Can you imagine how you will make it through the day with your spouse spending life in a small space and still have your private moments alone with yourself? Daily living in an RV travel trailer needs a lot adjustment to get use to, not only the kind of living lifestyle you have chosen but you also have a partner to think of when you decide to take off in your vehicle.
Mapping out some minor adjustments for you and your partner will lessen the stress of too much closeness. Deciding and starting to live together every day in your RV travel trailer may look like you are going for a short trip or a vacation but as time goes by too much 'closeness' will be coming between you and your spouse. Some guidelines you can follow from your fellow RVers might help you in coping.
Have Your Own Space Have your own small space where you can do your own work in your RV travel trailer. You need this certain spot for yourself to do your hobbies like reading, knitting and writing or doing your business work. Make sure you respect each other's space. This will keep your sense of individuality.

Your Small Haven A little small haven in one corner is enough if one of you needs some space alone. If your spouse goes for the bedroom and you feel like they want to have some space you can always stay out and say that you need to work on something. Make sure that your personal space will not hamper your spouse's
activities like his/her bedtime, for instance, if you choose to have this space in the bedroom of your RV travel trailer. One of you may stay awake and sleep some time later or wake up before the other one does to have some time for yourself.
Privacy Whenever you are watching TV or listening to music inside your RV travel trailer make sure that you are using headphones to give privacy to the other unless both of you wants to do things together.
Own Self Activities There are certain things which you and your spouse can do separately. You do not need to be together all the time just because you are spending your life in your RV travel trailer. Sometimes your spouse might want to do things on his/her own or there might be interests that you don't share. These will keep you both busy without being together too much.
Have Fun with Your Neighbors You can always join or invite your neighbours for some drinks like having coffee or snacks when staying in a park or resort or arrange some activities that you can do with them if staying for a few days. Men and women can do their own separate activities together while at the park.
