Employee Engagement

Many employees want to ‘do their bit’ for the environment and most of our partners believe that staff volunteering is a great way to build teams, raise morale, retain good staff and support their personal development.

Conservation Volunteers coordinates hundreds of staff volunteering teams on a range of exciting and signifi cant environment projects in metropolitan and regional areas across Australia and New Zealand throughout the year. We work with employers to develop projects that suit the specifi c needs of the employees and the workplace, taking into account diff erent levels of ability and fi tness. All projects are developed according to our comprehensive risk management system.

We have also benefi ted from our partners employees providing specialist pro-bono support in areas as diverse as strategic planning, staff training and risk management. We welcome regular support from an increasing number of individuals who utilise their workplace giving scheme, and in recent years we have seen many employees choose to raise funds through on-line fundraising and participating in special events.

So, no matter how many employees you have or how you’d like to get involved, we welcome your support.

“Conservation Volunteers

were fantastic; knowledgeable about the Reserve, helpful and very friendly and approachable! And it was an incredibly rewarding and fun experience planting the 600 native trees, some tea tree and native grasses with my colleagues!” Maersk New Zealand
