journey to define our vision, led by a group of community stakeholders, the Vision Steering Committee, and guided by Ian Symmonds and Associates, a marketing strategy firm specializing in independent schools. Through “listening sessions” and community coffees, we met with more than 300 community members, gathering input and synthesizing what we learned into a cohesive vision for OES: Connecting people, ideas, and cultures to advance knowledge, create solutions, and enhance meaning. Building on that strength, we developed a vision for the future OES that challenges us to extend relationship-based learning to equip students with 21st century skills, knowledge, and sensibilities. We want to develop students who are inquisitive, analytical, solution-oriented, collaborative, spiritually centered, globally aware, and interculturally adept. At the same time the vision
challenges us to exercise our citizenship by establishing connections with the broader community as individuals and as a school. We will continue to strengthen our existing partnerships and expand our collaborations with local,
