cal artist Mindy McCormick at 3 pm on Saturday (March 6) in honor of the three mosaic pieces she completed at the library. Each work is inspired by children’s literature classics and are com-


prised of handmade and kiln-fired tiles. Materials were provided by the Friends of the Library and scaffolding for the installation was provided by General Equipment Rental. Come and meet the artist. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call the library at 250-6482.


County Band Clinic concert was cancelled Tuesday (March 2) be- cause of snow. Te concert was cancelled in February because of inclement weather as well. School ski/snowboard team raced Sunday (Feb. 28) and the team placed second among 17 partici- pating schools at an event in Mag- gie Valley. Top skiers for the team were


Kelsey Mitchell with a third-place finish for the girl skiers and Will Walker with a fourth-place finish for the boy skiers. Wolf Ridge Resort sponsors the
