BIOGRAPHY

The Dirty Tricks Formed in 2008 featuring members whose previous musical exploits had seem them play alongside acts such as Kings of Leon, Bloc Party and the Arctic Monkeys. Inspired by a mix of sounds from the 60s,

70s and the best bits of the 90s, they soon went on to form a strong fan-base in their local area, which would soon grow on a national scale following two UK tours in support of their first single release 'The Believer'. The single received a good response from admirers and national press alike. This was followed up by another full UK tour in 2009 for their second release, the double A side 'Free Your Soul/Come On Over Again', which again helped to secure their reputation as a well respected live act on the circuit. The release of ‘Free Your Soul’ saw them playing to near capacity crowds at venues such as The 100 Club, Norwich Waterfront, The Dublin Castle and a sold out show at the Norwich Arts Centre. Playing just under 250 shows since 2008, they continue to leave a legacy in venues up and down the country

and will be making their first trip around Europe later this year, with an album due out in October.
