DVD OF THE MONTH
Green Zone Dismissed as either liberal propaganda or a dumb action flick with a political setting, Bourne Ultimatum alumni Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass have nonetheless delivered an intelligent action film that puts the spotlight on the political situation whilst also providing action-a-plenty for those in need. Based on the memoirs of Rajiv Chandrasekran, Damon stars as Chief Roy Miller charged with finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The problem is wherever he looks he always comes away empty- handed, leading him to question US intelligence and the reason behind the invasion. Occasionally playing as Bourne in Iraq, The Green Zone is still an intelligent action film that reaffirms Damon’s place as an action star.
