The 2007 AMEAConference is again scheduled to be held at the University of Alabama. The dates for the confer- ence are January 18-20. We have an excellent schedule of clinics and concerts. I would like to thank all those mem- bers who applied to either present a clinic or to have their band perform. Also scheduled for the conference is the first business meeting of ABA for the year.


I expect to


have final reports from both the All-State Realignment Committee (Terry Ownby, Chairman) and the One Contest System Committee (Dane Lawley, Chairman).


Finally thank you to the District Chairmen, Vice- Chairmen and Executive Board. diligently to make our jobs easier.
