No one kicks off the So-Cal Pride season like Long Beach. And it’s safe to say that
no one can hold a candle to the entertainment here either! But even before the main festivities commence on May 15 and 16, a rapid succession of official Pre-Pride events are lined up for you to enjoy all month long! On Saturday, May 1, savor some tasty talent from the frat boys at Delta Lambda Phi

an appearance by the America’s Gay Bachelor competition finalists and other special surprises. Located on Pine Avenue at Broadway, the Pink Party is expected to draw thousands to the heart of Downtown Long Beach’s dining and entertainment district with DJ Abel spinning all night long, dancing, drink and food specials and most defi- nitely lots and lots of pink! Admission is $10 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Center Long Beach’s Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment Program.
