SPRING IS BUSTIN’ OUT ALL OVER
April brings a shower of stars to The Rage Monthly. It’s all about men this month as we present a
variety of actors, singers and one very well known chef to the mix in honor of this year’s Dining Out for Life day on Thursday, April 29. Let’s begin with an actor that is involved in a top-notch film called La Mission, opening this month. His name is Jeremy Ray Valdez and he costars opposite Benjamin Bratt. The film explores the Mission district in San Francisco and the dynamics of a Latino father who discov- ers his only son is gay. La Mission is receiving rave reviews at numerous film festivals across the country and Jeremy is grateful that the LGBT community is acknowledging his realistic portrayal as the gay son in a positive light. Learn more about this talented actor on page 40. Our cover model is none other than the adorable Chris Salvatore. Last year, Chris starred in the ever- popular gay comedy series of films known as Eating Out. This year, Chris is anxious and excited about his upcoming CD of pop-flavored songs titled Dirty Love. It’s not signed on the dotted line yet but it’s highly likely you will see more of Chris Salvatore in the next Eating Out chapter. He is grounded and charming, so check out our interview on page 44. Another man crush that The Rage Monthly has is on the wild and sexy lead singer of Neon Trees. His name is Tyler Glenn and this guy has got a set of pipes on him that is sure to bring the band great success. The Rage Monthly caught up with Tyler on the day Neon Trees’ debut was released. His passion for music is explored on page 50. All of these talented beaus definitely qualify as yummy, but Ted Allen literally wrote the book on
“yum!” Since his days as our culinary consort on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Allen has kept a full schedule—most recently as a spokesperson for the nationwide fundraising event Dining Out For Life, as he divulges on page 52 Last but not least is the DVD release of The Big Gay Musical. One of the stars of this hilarious exposé on
theatre, religion and lust is Joey Dudding. His take on the film and his experiences so far make for a fun read in our film section on page 18. Well…there you have it. It’s officially spring and as the song says, “Birds do it. Bees do it. Let’s fall in love.” Take your pick of the numerous men presented in our April issue and daydream your way into May.
