Wreck the dress Wince-inducing for some, the latest fashion for others, “wreck the dress” is a casual shoot a few days post- ceremony when bride and groom enter the sea in their wedding attire. Dreams Resorts & Spas’ in-house snappers Adventure Photos offer Trash the Dress shoots with 40 images and a photo book for $499. More traditional photography, with a 50- photo album, is incorporated in Dreams’ $2,999 Ultimate wedding package or can be bought separately (from $599 at Dreams Cancun). Honeymooners at Dreams can book a free 20-minute photo session and buy the images at $15 each. Belleair also embraces dress-
wrecking with an hour’s photography for £382.

Webstreaming Loved-ones back home can now get a virtual seat at the ceremony thanks to webcasts. Ionian Weddings says its venues, especially higher-end ones in Santorini, are increasingly offering live video streaming. Planet also offers webcasts at selected venues. In Vegas, for $375, the Bellagio’s wedding chapel can produce live webcasts using cameras inset in the walls.
Rainproofing In the unlikely event it rains during their wedding, couples can have their photoshoot on another day at Lux Grande Gaube, Mauritius. On the resort’s jetty and under its
banyan trees are popular locations. Fifty photos and an album are among a host of inclusions in the £1,375 Infinity wedding package. A 45- minute DVD costs £304 and sunset photographs £82 for 12 exposures plus CD.
