bland when used for breakfast, its sleek
design comes into its own at night. The hotel
has a relatively small gym, though the views
from the treadmills are great, and an outside
company can also be booked for massages in
the on-site treatment rooms. 7/10
Service and welcome
Service was excellent throughout, but the
process of arriving at the hotel by car is a
huge drawback. The only available car park
is an NCP multi-storey next door, which has
no signs to the hotel, and to avoid walking
around the neighbouring Holiday Inn you
need to take a rather unpleasant lift and be
let in through a rear door by a number of
loading bays. Valet parking suddenly takes
on a fresh appeal. 5/10
Value for money
There will be cheaper places to stay, but you
get what you pay for at the Radisson SAS
and staff are helpful and polite. The afore-
mentioned car park is a real pain though,
and regular Radisson customers would
probably be a bit taken aback by their
first impressions. 7/10
