Climbing can take place in a number of
environments. Climbers sometimes use
indoor walls, climb icy mountain peaks
or steep rock faces. Climbing can also
differ in difficulty depending on the
gradient and type of face to be climbed.
Climbers also must have the correct
equipment for the climb they are to
attempt.
