“For all intents and purposes, The Joker is the same coaster that we built at Fiesta Texas last year, and was a tremendous hit,” confirms Tim Timco at S&S. “Inspired by the 4th Dimension Coaster, the 4D Free Spin is another small footprint coaster (259 by 28ft, or 79 by 8.5 m) that utilises magnetic technology to control the spinning of the coaster’s unique vehicles." Spin coaster from S&S – Sansei follows the opening of Batman: The Ride last May at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Named after one of the greatest DC Comics Super-Villains ever created, The Joker includes three layers of stacked track packed with hills, valleys and raven turns. locally-based erection company, signed the final piece of green steel on March 18, just one day after St Patrick’s Day, before it ascended to its final resting place atop the 90° vertical lift. Following the topping off, the construction, maintenance and engineering teams were due to install the elevator style, chain lift mechanism that will hoist riders to the top. They will then add the five wing vehicles. Once the ride controls are installed, extensive testing will take place before the inspections and certification by New Jersey officials before the first passengers board the ride later this spring. "We learned a lot from the first coaster at Fiesta Texas,"

reveals Timco. "Each location where a spin is induced can be adjusted for more spin or less spin on each vehicle can be determined by the park. This offers countless different ride experiences that keeps riders coming back. The ride has been such hit that several other 4D Free Spins are planned around the world including additional coasters at other Six Flags parks."
