EMI Filter Intros PXS Series with “Talon Grip”

Clearwater, FL — EMI Filter Com - pany, a division of Nordquist Dielec - trics, has introduced its PXS series of filters with its patented “Talon Grip” filter body. The filter body is non-compressive and self-center- ing, and allows for removal and repositioning if necessary, without part or board damage. Similar to the PZ series, the

filters are 0.5in (12.7mm) long from one tip of the 0.2in (5.1mm) diameter lead to the other. The body, centered on the lead

Only NorCom optical leak technology detects both gross and fine leaks in hermetically sealed packages, this fast. Instead of using multiple technologies

and processes, you can leak test virtually any type of package with one high-speed system. The NorCom 2020™

series inspects hermetically sealed components to

MIL-STD 883 requirements either in seam seal trays, or when already mounted to circuits boards and assemblies. It automatically rejects failed devices, and reports the leak rate for each part, eliminating “divide and conquer”leak testing.

Altech Intros Spring Clamp Terminal Blocks

Flemington, NJ — Altech Corpora - tion, a supplier and distributor of electronic and control components, has introduced its CX series of spring clamp terminal blocks, which is up to 20 percent smaller than the compa- ny’s previous similar series. The CX includes a center mark-

ing area for circuit identification and cutouts for ferruled wires. Also, push- in jumpers are available in 2, 3, 4, and 10 pole configurations, with two jumper channels. The spring clamp design eliminates screws and any screw torque requirements. The clamp has a high contact force, which pro- vides secure connections for applica- tions with shock and vibration issues. The blocks are well-suited for ele-

vators, vehicles, and machines. The company offers many types

of spring terminal blocks, for example, feed-through, multiple connection,

ground/earth, multiple connection ground/earth, double level, side-entry feed-through, and panel mount.

Divelbiss: Bear Bones PLCs are IoT and Telematics Ready

Fredericktown, OH — Divelbiss Cor - por ation, a manufacturer of products for the electronics and industrial con- trol industry, has introduced en - hanced models and expansion options for the P-Series Bear Bones family of OEM programmable logic controllers. The series offers powerful control capabilities and is now ready for Internet of Things (IoT) and telemat- ics applications through the Versa - Cloud M2M platform. The Bear Bones family provides flexibility for connect- ing to and controlling equipment, com- municating with various serial bus protocols, logging system data, or adding Internet of Things and telem- atics capability to existing systems. The series of PLCs are mounted

with industry standard standoffs. They come with eight digital inputs and outputs rated at 2A each, and eight analog inputs which are config- urable from 0 to 5V, 0 to 10V, or 0 to 20mA. One CAN port is available and supports the SAE J1939 protocols, the NMEA2000 protocols and can be used to communicate with digital I/O expan- sion boards and other controllers using OptiCAN. By using plug-in expansion boards, the PLCs can have cellular and

Wi-Fi capabilities for communication with the Versa Cloud M2M platform. A GPS option is also available. Ethernet and Wi-Fi ports can be used for MOD- BUS TCP Server and Client communi- cations. For applications that require data logging, the PLC family is avail-

able with a real-time clock, 512K of battery-backed SRAM, and can accept a micro SD card. The PLCs support supply and I/O voltages from 8 to 32VDC and 90 to 130VAC and operate in a temperature range of

–40 to +80°C (–40 to +176°F). Contact: Divelbiss Corporation,
