Sunnyvale, CA — Krytar, a designer and producer of ultra-broadband microwave components and test equipment, has continued the expan- sion of its line of microwave coaxial adapters with a new Within Series model offering application coverage over the frequency range of DC to 67GHz. The company manufactures

rugged RF and microwave coaxial adapters for use in wireless commu- nications applications, test equip- ment and antenna devices for com- mercial and military markets. Model 4030 is a compact, 1.85mm (0.073in) Within Series adapter design with a 50W impedance. The new model adapter has a

straight-body style constructed with 1.85mm (0.073in) plug and jack con- nectors. The adapter is manufac- tured to precise RF specifications and has a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1 (50 to 67GHz). It offers low insertion loss and RF leakage. It measures 0.817in (20.75mm) in length with a hexagonal locking ring. Designed for use in military and

aerospace applications, the compa- ny’s coaxial adapters are manufac- tured to MIL-STD-348 test-grade

Multi-Material Cutter from Eraser

Syracuse, NY — The Eraser Com - pany, a manufacturer of machinery to process wire, cable and tubing, has released the model MMC71 Multi-Mat - erial Cutter. The cutter is capable of

handling a wide variety of materials including flat mat - erial up to 3.3in (84mm) wide, tubing up to 3/16in (4.8mm) OD, and wire up to 14 AWG stranded, or 16 AWG solid. The cutter works well

on flat material such as heat-shrink tubing, tapes, foils, ribbon cable, and sili- cone tubing. The machine is easily programmable, of - fer ing 10 fixed feed rates and cut rates, and storage for up to 99 batches and 10 kits. Material guides are adjustable for each appli- cation.

Additional guide kits are avail- able to allow multiple pieces of the

same material to be cut simultane- ously. The unit is fully electric and

nels with variable voltage and cur- rent up to 30V/3A and a third vari- able channel rated for 5V/3A. With a compact 19in half-rack form factor, the new supply is offered for use in a variety of general purpose applica- tions.

Containing a programming and

readback resolution of 10mV/1mA, the supply provides convenient cur- sor keys and a rotary control knob for precise voltage and current settings. The power supply can be operated in constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes. Each channel output is simulta- neously displayed on a bright vacu-

ming. A USB to TTL serial adapted and USB cable is included with the instrument. Users can also control the instrument, generate test sequences and log measurement data with the provided PC software application or NI-certified LabView driver. Other features include built-in

over-voltage and over-temperature protection, keylock function, and internal memory to store and recall

up to 27 different instrument settings. Contact: B&K Precision
