&Beyond adds ocean villas

Luxury experiential travel company &Beyond is adding six designer villas on a remote island to its portfolio.
The beachfront properties on
Vamizi Island off the Mozambique coast come with a team of staff, including a private chef, and the use of a vehicle. Each villa sleeps up to 12 people, with en-suite bedrooms, drawing and dining rooms, private pools and beach lounging areas. Set in a marine conservation
area, Vamizi boasts some of the most diverse marine life in the

either &Beyond Mnemba Island or &Beyond Benguerra Island, adding yet another dimension to our portfolio. They represent the ultimate private beach hideaway for individuals, families or groups looking to escape winter or to end their safari on this unique island.” Stays on the island can be added
to trips to East or southern Africa and can be accessed via flights from Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Nairobi in Kenya or Johannesburg to Pemba in Mozambique. From there, a flight in a light aircraft takes travellers directly to &Beyond Vamizi Island. Bookings are being taken for stays after March. Prices start at
£1,379 per villa per night.

Burj Al Arab extends into sea with new luxury deck
The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai is creating a new private luxury deck. North Deck, due to launch in the second quarter of this year, will fan out 100 metres into the sea and will have two swimming pools, a restaurant and bar, 32 cabanas and 400 sunbeds.

Hilton opens first hotel in Chad on the Chari River
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in Chad. The 194-room Hilton N’Djamena, with views of Chari River, is in the new district of Sabangali in N’Djamena. Hilton Worldwide now has 37 hotels in Africa.
