Flybe adds summer routes to France and Rotterdam

Flybe is offering new routes from Birmingham to France this summer, adding services to Limoges, Nantes and Rennes.
The regional carrier has also
put on flights from Glasgow and Liverpool to Cornwall Airport Newquay for the summer. Flybe will fly twice a week to Limoges in west-central France on Wednesday and Saturday, five times a week to Nantes on the Loire, excluding Tuesday and Thursday, and four times a week to Rennes in Brittany, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. All three services to and from
France commence on Saturday, May 21, and will operate until the end of October. One-way fares from £29.99 are on sale now. The Newquay flights from
Glasgow and Liverpool will operate weekly on Saturday over the same period and are also on
Ryanair unveils new routes to Milan, Sofia Verona and Palanga
Ryanair will add services from Stansted to the Lithuanian resort town of Palanga this summer as it expands its schedule from the London airport to more than 1,100 flights a week. The carrier will fly twice a week
to Palanga. It will also add a twice- daily service to Milan Malpensa, a daily service to Sofia and five weekly flights to Verona from Stansted. Ryanair is also increasing frequencies from Stansted to Berlin and Cologne for the summer.
RYANAIR: Stansted-Lithuania link Ryanair will begin daily services
to Timisoara, in Romania from November 1. It has also expanded its fast-track service for Business Plus flyers to Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Amadeus confirmed the availability of Business Plus Fares through the GDS, promising “no fare differential
compared with Ryanair’s website”.

Vueling to start spring service to Santiago in Spain from Gatwick
Vueling will begin flying from Gatwick to Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain on March 30. Services will operate three times
a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tickets are on sale now with one-way fares from €39.99. Part of International Airlines Group, Vueling plans to offer an increasing number of UK leisure routes, while sister airline Iberia focuses on flights to its long-haul hub at Madrid. One-way fares to Rotterdam are on offer

depart Manchester twice a day on weekdays at 07.00 and 16.30, with return flights from Rotterdam at 09.55 and 19.25. Weekend flights will depart Manchester at 07.00 on Saturday and 18.05 on Sunday, allowing scope for an overnight break. One-way fares are on offer for a
limited period from £19.99.

Singapore plans to link Canberra and Wellington
Singapore Airlines will introduce services to Canberra and Wellington from Singapore on September 20, connecting the capitals of Australia and New Zealand with a single service four times a week. The carrier hailed this as the first regular scheduled international service to and from Canberra. Flights will depart for Wellington via Canberra at 23.00 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Heathrow Express unveils cheaper advance tickets
Heathrow Express is offering weekend advance tickets between Paddington and Heathrow for just £5.50 if purchased 90 days in advance. Economy weekday tickets bought 90 days before travel cost £12.10, with 30-day advance weekend singles at £8.80 and 14-day advance fares from £12.10. Children aged 15 and under travel free. A standard single fare is £22.
