Business Development Manager (North)
Purpose of the Role: To successfully acquire new travel insurance partnerships from within the UK Travel Trade sector and grow Cover-More’s revenues, by proactive approach. Required Competencies: • Sales experience with a proven track record in a similar role • Sales focused - strong negotiation skills & commercial acumen • Accountable for Results • Relationship Management Skills • Communication Skills – written, oral, presentations. Personal Attributes: • Positive, confident, passionate, energetic, enthusiastic & presentable • Highly motivated & competitive • Driven by success & results oriented • High personal integrity and professional behavioural standards. Accountabilities for the Role: New Client Acquisition • Grow portfolio of UK Travel Trade clients (Travel Agents & Tour Operators) by proactive approach, from within designated regional geographical area(s) • Identify and proactively target key sector, distribution and commercial partnership opportunities • Drive new business progression, results & growth against targets, through the management, maintenance and delivery of regional new business pipeline • Establish and strengthen relationships with key prospect decision-makers, through continuous contact and face-to-face meetings, to ensure involvement in immediate and future opportunities
• Provide feedback and regular reporting on both agency visits and competitor activity, in a structured format as defined by UK Sales Manager • Acquire new clients and meet/exceed regional sales targets as set by UK Sales Manager • Implementation and launch of new business wins • Representation at various Travel Industry Events and Conferences. General • Work within agreed decision-making standards, limitations and authorities • Comply with key regulatory and risk management responsibilities • Carry out accountabilities and objectives within the framework of Cover-More Insurance Services’ “Treating Customers Fairly” policy.
Requirements: • The role would suit an experienced sales professional who is prepared cover Northern Region(s)/Scotland • Ability to work independently with a flexible approach to working hours (both in and outside of normal work- ing hours) and be able to work away from home when required • Ideally, 2 years on-the-road experience of selling travel insurance or other ancillary products into the Travel Trade industry.
Salary Up to £27,000 basic salary (based on experience in a similar sales role) and bonus incentive (based on performance) - £50,000 OTE, Brand new company car, fuel card & expenses, mobile phone & laptop provided To apply for this role, please email a copy of your current CV to:

Product Manager (Cambridgeshire)
Vintage Travel, the specialist direct sell tour operator of houses with private pools is looking to appoint a Product Manager.
Reporting to the Operations Director your duties will include strategic development, contracting, pricing and brochure/website copy together with day-to-day area management of one or more of the company’s destinations ensuring that product delivery and service levels meet the high expectations of our clients.
It is anticipated the successful candidate will have experience
in a product/contracting or similar role, will be commercially aware with a flexible approach and be willing to travel.
A good command of either French, Spanish, Greek or Italian is essential.
