Carnival Inspiration adds new bars and restaurants
Carnival Inspiration is undergoing a multimillion-dollar refurbishment. New restaurants and bars, including Guy’s Burger Joint and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, are being added ahead of the ship starting year-round sailings out of Long Beach, California, on February 5.

HAL plans Rijksmuseum at Sea on Oosterdam
Holland America Line is partnering with Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum to showcase more art at sea. The Rijksmuseum at Sea exhibition will be installed on Oosterdam in April. HAL plans to install reproductions from the museum across its fleet.

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ online agent portal has been revamped with a new look, improved content and enhanced functionality. Regent Seven Seas plans $125m three-ship revamp

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is investing $125 million in a fleet‑wide refurbishment.
The line said it aims to bring its
existing vessels in line with new ship Seven Seas Explorer, which launches this summer. The two-year upgrade will start with the luxury line’s smallest vessel, the 490-passenger Seven Seas Navigator, followed by Seven Seas Voyager in late 2016 and Seven Seas Mariner in spring 2017. Seven Seas Navigator will enter
drydock in Marseille on March 31. The project is due to be completed by April 13 when the ship embarks on a 10-night cruise from Barcelona to Rome. Most public spaces will be
revamped and all suite categories will be completely redesigned. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is

MSC suspends calls to two Turkish ports after terrorist attack
MSC Cruises has followed Crystal Cruises and suspended calls in Turkey. The line said the suspension would be in place “until further notice”. A statement said: “This decision
was taken by the company amid growing concern among guests as a result of the recent tragic events in Istanbul.” The decision will impact MSC
