Bemco to Implement Epicor BisTrack ERP solution E

picor Soſtware Corporation, the soſtware solutions provider for

manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations announces that independent wholesaler, the British Electrical and Manufacturing Company Limited (Bemco), is to implement the Epicor BisTrack ERP solution across its electrical wholesale, manufacturing and import businesses in 2016. “We are unique in the industry,” said Bemco

Managing Director, Simon Barkes. “What differentiates us from our mainstream electrical wholesale competitors is that we also operate manufacturing and export businesses, as well as a domestic appliance business and a fast growing building controls division. We are

adept in diversification and, because of this, we have a lot of knowledge to pass on to our customers.”

Bemco implemented its existing ERP system in 1999 and, although it had served the company well initially, there had been no system development for several years. The Bemco team looked at four other

systems but chose BisTrack for two reasons. Barkes explained: “Firstly the price was right. Secondly I liked the way BisTrack is set up so all customers receive the same ‘out of the box’ solution but, just like an iPhone, it has the flexibility to let you tailor it to work how you want it to.” BisTrack is an ERP system that is constantly being improved and, when developments are

made to enhance the system for one customer, every other customer benefits. With its integrated financials, BisTrack is also expected to deliver significant time and cost savings to Bemco’s accounts department and its operating businesses. BisTrack has been powering electrical wholesale businesses in the UK for more than a decade.
