Park Profile

National Cranberry Festival and Christmas Festival of Lights.

Unique brand “Edaville USA has been a family friendly destination for Thomas fans for more than 14 years," notes Priscoli. "Since Day Out With Thomas first came to Edaville, we’ve always envisioned opening a larger Thomas theme park. The brand is unique, it teaches children in so many ways, and we love the fact that as a parent we can ride the rides with our children.” There are currently two other Thomas Lands in operation worldwide. The first was opened in 1998 at Fujikyu Highland amusement park in Japan, 90 minutes from Tokyo. The second Thomas Land, was Europe’s first when it opened in 2008 at Drayton Manor Theme Park in central England. Together, both parks attract nearly 3 million guests each year, Drayton in particular receiving a significant boost when Thomas came to town. There have, in fact, been other Thomas-branded theme park attractions in the USA too, such as four Thomas Towns at various Six Flags parks including Six Flags New England 124 miles (200 m) away from Edaville USA. Priscoli says its removal and replacement as Whistlestop Park in 2013 did not influence in his decision to add Thomas Land, which is larger than any of the former Thomas Towns. Edaville USA, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2015, also added a further five additional rides this season

Land,” Prsicolo concludes, “These will include Main Street USA, which will feature shops and restaurants, a Dickens Village where Santa will be all season long, and more rides including a water coaster [by Miler], indoor dark ride, go-karts, bumper boats and a swinging pirate ship.”
