In fact, the town has been popular among tourists for more than a hundred years and also attracts a large number of conferences, symposiums and conventions. As a result, Aquacolors’ owners chose to make a
significant investment, €25 million ($27m) in the new waterpark, working with Polin to install a wide variety of the company’s signature attraction across its 51,000 sq m (548,959-sq-ft). Guests begin their journey by descending a steep incline and are sent whirling around the interior of the cone, undergoing surprising changes in momentum created by the ride’s signature shape. They then end the adrenaline-pumping trip in a dry-out section, although the manufacturer says it can also be supplied with a pool finish. A further 10 major slides and attractions are featured in
the Aquacolors line-up including a Black Hole/Flying Boats combination, two Spheres, a Navigatour, two Looping Rockets, a freefall, family rafting slide, racer twin hybrid, multi slide and body slide. Toddlers and children will have their own special area
with miniature designed to keep them cool and active. An Aquatower 550 water-play structure features such distractions as slides, tipping buckets and water cannons. In addition, kids can enjoy a turtle slide, mushroom fountain and more. Other attractions at Aquacolours, which closed for the season in September and will reopen next spring, include several heated pools, kids' activities, restaurants and an adult-focused relaxation zone.
