The announcement coincided with the culmination of a campaign run by the adventure operator’s UK office, in conjunction with Travel Weekly, to find a travel agent to be a Responsible Travel Ambassador. Agents committed to
responsible travel were asked to apply for the role, with the promise of a G Adventures trip to Peru to visit four social enterprise projects, and the chance to write about them in Travel Weekly, as the star prize. At the judging in G Adventures’
