ProductFinder ESP’s latest HDView CCTV range

– as easy as 1, 2, 3 It may offer the latest AHD (Analogue High Definition) and superior image quality, but the most talked aspect of ESP’s new HDView CCTV collection is the simple set-up and the ability to view the information on a mobile phone. It takes just three simple steps to complete set-up, ready for viewing your cameras from anywhere in the world, subject to data connection. The new HDView CCTV Collection comprises 40 new products including

14 High Definition CCTV Kits, 15 Digital Video Recorders and 9 Cameras. The DigiviewHD range of 4 and 8 Channel CCTV Kits provide everything required for professional system installations in convenient, boxed units. Each kit comprises a 4 or 8-channel 720P DVR, Sony 720P bullet or dome

cameras, 20M lengths of RG59 shotgun cable, HDMI cable and power supply. A range of hard drive capacities are available – 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. AHD delivers high definition video using digital TV (DTV) transmission. AHD leverages the extremely robust AV transmission capability of DTV to

easily and seamlessly upgrade an analogue CCTV surveillance system to digital full HD. With AHD, high definition digital video can be transmitted easily over existing coaxial cabling. Cable run limitation is not a problem as AHD cable runs can easily exceed 300m. To download a brochure visit:

uwww.espuk.com ‘Screwless’ DEBOX in-line junction box

gets new Counter Display Unit Free sales aid for Electrical Wholesalers Hylec-APL has a new counter display unit for its innovative DEBOX in-line junction box. It includes a 3-step infographic showing how DEBOX simplifies installation by removing the

need for screws. Each DEBOX comes with a four-pole terminal block which is secured on a push-fit mounting pole. Cables are clamped in place. Everything is to hand, with no chance of items being dropped or

mislaid. DEBOX reduces time on-site and the overall cost of installation. Features include a ratchet arm to secure the cable within the junction

box, allowing it to accommodate both flat and round cable whilst still producing secure cable retention. A fixing pin is used instead of a screw to secure the lid (a spare pin is included within the box). Two mounting ‘ears’ allow the DEBOX to be fastened in place, relieving tension from the cables. DEBOX can also be screwed to the wall from inside the box. Mark Severn, Director of Sales, said: “Electricians love

the fact that installation is virtually tool-free and faster than using competing products. The new CDU we are supplying free to Electrical Wholesalers shows how easy it

is to use.” uhttp://www.hylec-apl.com/ Easier sizing with Dimplex

Quantum Heater app Dimplex has launched a new app which enables contractors to quickly and easily estimate which Dimplex Quantum off-peak heater is required for any given room. The new Dimplex Quantum Heater Sizing Guide is available on iPhone, Android and Windows platforms. Contractors can enter room size, building construction and number of outside walls from a series of simple, drop down lists – and the app will then provide the model number of the most appropriate heater based on its kW loading. Users can also download further information on the Quantum range and link to a more comprehensive heat loss calculator on the Dimplex website. Karen Trewick, director of communications at Dimplex, said:

“The innovative Dimplex Quantum off-peak heating system already delivers significant benefits, from easy installation and market opportunities for contractors, to ease of use and cheaper running costs for homeowners; in fact, it can save homeowners up to £975 a year when compared with an electric convector or radiator system. “Now this app will give contractors the opportunity to make one simple calculation at their

fingertips and provide customers with an estimated quote on the spot, based on the model(s) identified as most appropriate for the room.” To download simply search for Dimplex Quantum in your app store.
