Gekko Gripper The Gekko Gripper was another obvious choice for a counter top display because since its launch it has become the ‘must have’ product for every electrician who needs help routing cables through floor voids. Designed by


Manchester joiner Dave Reddy, the Gekko Gripper makes light work of cable installation. In just four easy steps cable can be routed effortlessly in even the most inaccessible places. Its simplicity is undoubtedly the


reason for its huge success because installers simply have to uncoil the string from the spool and place the magnet (with the string attached) under the floorboard. They then place the


larger magnet on top of the floorboard


before placing the cable into the Mini Eye & Ring and securing it into position. The final easy step is to use the thumb grip to pull the cable through the floor void and the job is complete. The great thing about having this on the trade counter is that installers can have a look while they are making other purchases and to be honest,

Onwards and upwards Moving with the times is something that we need to do if we as an


industry are to keep up with the demand of our customers and this is just as true for manufacturers as it is for wholesalers.
