Youth training teams include list of veterans
USA Volleyball selected 45 elite players for the 2015 U.S. Boys’ Youth National and Girls’ Youth National Train- ing Teams to compete in international competitions this summer.
Nine veterans from the 2014 Boys’
Youth National Team that won the NORCECA Continental Championship will compete for roster spots among the 25 on the training team. The team chosen from this group will compete at the FIVB Boys’ Youth World Championship Aug. 14-23 in Argentina.
The returning players include TJ DeFalco, who was named Most Valuable Player and Best Spiker of the NORCECA tournament. The 2015 training team will meet in July in Des Moines, Iowa, and train in conjunction with the USAV High Performance Championships. The team will be cut to 12 players to compete at the FIVB Boys’ Youth World Championship. Twelve spots will also be available for the 20 players listed on the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Training Team (GYNTT) roster for 2015. The 20-player
