Carnival to redeploy US-based vessels for 2016 Carnival Cruise Line will redeploy ships next year to drive interest in sailings from Galveston and Port Canaveral. Carnival Breeze will sail from Galveston from May 8 and Carnival Magic from Port Canaveral from April 23. Carnival Valor will operate five and eight- night cruises from Port Canaveral.

Clia UK & Ireland is to host its first summit aimed at agents not currently selling cruise holidays.
The New to Cruise Summit, which will be held in London on September 15, is being run in association with Puerto Rico Tourism and Clia members. It will be a
mix of training in cruise sales techniques, industry trends, product training and tips on how agents can capitalise on resources available to reach new customers. Clia director Andy Harmer said: “There are many travel agents who are keen to grow their cruise sales and our New to Cruise Summit will tackle head on some of the ways in which we can all grow our cruise sales using some
