PATS AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS RECEIVES 5TH CONSECUTIVE FAA DIAMOND AWARD


PATS Aircraft Systems announces that it has received the prestigious Diamond Award of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), for the fifth consecutive year. The award is recognition of PATS’ commitment to aviation safety through maintenance technician training. The award requires 100%


participation from all eligible employees and reflects the individual and collective commitment to excellence in training at PATS. Each individual employee enrolled in the FAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program was required to complete established levels of recurrent and new training as part of PATS’ rigorous and ongoing training regimen. To celebrate the momentous milestone achievement, PATS is hosting a celebratory luncheon for its entire staff of over 300 employees and distinguished guests including local and state politicians, as well as the FAA Flight Standards District Office. WEST STAR AVIATION WELCOMES NEW AVIONICS TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER


West Star Aviation recently announced it has welcomed Chris Woolverton to its sales team as Avionics technical sales manager. Woolverton will be based at West Star’s East Alton, IL (ALN) facility. Woolverton has built an extensive


career in the corporate aviation industry over the last 16 years, holding varying roles in avionics installations and sales for major aviation companies. Most recently, he has concentrated on providing support to Global 5000, 6000 and Challenger 605 customers. A certified A&P Technician, Woolverton also spent six years in the United States Air Force. “Chris’ experience with specific


aircraft over the last few years is going to make him a valuable asset to our customers,” says Mary Rhine, Avionics sales manager, West Star Aviation. “He is very knowledgeable about the industry and we are proud to have him as part of the team.” In his new position, Woolverton will focus on providing support to West Star customers on both minor and large
