Winning suppliers take the stage


A great crowd was present at the DCA conference in November to see the 2014 winners of the client nominated ECMOD Direct Commerce Supplier of the Year Awards – the SOYAs – presented to delighted winners. Always a close call, the results of these Awards are entirely based upon nominations made by contented clients –


happy to endorse the suppliers who’ve supported them throughout the year. Some suppliers encourage their clients to nominate them, others simply sit back and hope that their clients will seize the opportunity to nominate them. For 2014 our office saw a 32 per cent uplift in response received with many forms – submitted online as well as by mail - containing nominations for three or more suppliers across a range of categories, and 29 per cent making nominations for the first time. We invited John Norton, then chairman of the DCA, to present the trophies and these are the results:

Best Creative & Design Service: TA Design


Back again in “winners” row” is TA Design, the specialist catalogue and DM creative business from Hove. 2014 was its 21st year in the business which have seen its team consistently produce award winning and, importantly, revenue generating creative for countless catalogue editions.
