There are a variety of factors contributing to the growth in M&A in 2014, including sizable corporate cash reserves and private equity funds looking for opportunities in the market. We spoke to Joe Andrew, Global Chair of Dentons, about the M&A sector and current trends and challenges.

What do you think attributes to the 75% rise in M&As in the first half of 2014 compared to the same period in 2007?
While there are certainly a number of mega deals that have contributed to the rise in value of deal volume, the number of deals is also up substantially.
