Mergers & Acquisitions
There are a variety of factors contributing to the growth in M&A in 2014, including sizable corporate cash reserves and private equity funds looking for opportunities in the market. We spoke to Joe Andrew, Global Chair of Dentons, about the M&A sector and current trends and challenges.

What do you think attributes to the 75% rise in M&As in the first half of 2014 compared to the same period in 2007?
While there are certainly a number of mega deals that have contributed to the rise in value of deal volume, the number of deals is also up substantially. CEO confidence is up and high public company market valuations have created a strong currency for many companies to pursue transactions without use of cash or
