THE LEGAL 500 US AWARDS HIGHEST RANKING TO JONES DAY'S LABOR & EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE FOR 7TH YEAR IN A ROW; RECOMMENDS 16 LAWYERS, NAMES FOUR 'LEADING LAWYERS'
For the seventh year in a row, Jones Day's Labor & Employment Practice was awarded the highest recognition as one of the nation's leading practices in the 2014 edition of The Legal 500 United States. The practice was called "truly exceptional," "head and shoulders above others," and as having "quality and sophisticated legal analysis and performance that is
only surpassed by its understanding of clients' needs and how to service those needs in an efficient and highly responsive manner."
In the 2014 rankings, The Legal 500 gave the practice its highest recommendation in both Labor and Employment Litigation and Labor-Management Relations, quoting clients as stating the
COMMERCIAL LITIGATOR SAVARIA HARRIS JOINS DLA PIPER IN NEW YORK
DLA Piper has announced that Savaria Harris has joined the firm’s Litigation practice as a partner based in New York. She will also practice in Washington, DC.
A versatile general litigator and trial lawyer, Harris’s experience includes a broad array of complex commercial matters, including mass tort, contract disputes, antitrust and patent litigation, as well as federal investigations and enforcement actions. Her practice also focuses on anti-fraud litigation and compliance counseling under the US False Claims Act.
“Savaria is a talented and highly respected litigator,” said Heidi Levine, co-managing partner of DLA Piper’s New York office. “She will be a welcome addition to our litigation and white collar teams, and an asset to our clients in New York, DC and nationwide.”

She also holds an adjunct teaching position at Georgetown University on workplace ethics.
