Dentsu Aegis acquires majority stake in Milestone Brandcom

Dentsu Aegis Network Limited (“DAN”) has acquired 51% of the share capital of Milestone Brandcom Private Limited (“Milestone”) through its Indian subsidiary. Milestone is engaged in the business of out- of-home media planning and buying, retail merchandising, media promotion, digital signage, LED display and digital application on outdoor medium in India. Pursuant to the acquisition, DAN would become the largest out-of-home advertising agency in India.

DSK Legal lead the transaction and was involved in conducting the due diligence of the target entities, advising and assisting DAN in the structuring of the transaction, drafting of all documentation and assisting DAN in negotiating the transaction. A group of investors including Finland’s government innovation fund, Sitra and Finnish VC Butterfly Ventures have participated in a €1.1m funding round for NaturVention, a developer of natural air filtering systems.

Investors in the Jyväskylä-based business are Sitra, Butterfly Ventures, Oy Hammaren & Co, Dr Leena Niemistö and lawyer Olof Rehn, as well as partners and employees of NaturVention.

With products currently installed in Finland and Russia, the company will use the fresh capital to accelerate growth, strengthen its product research and development, and prepare for further international expansion. It plans to have its products in every major metropolis by 2020. LM
