Manitex International acquires PM Group

Manitex International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNTX) has reached an agreement to acquire PM-Group SpA (PM and Oil & Steel SpA,) of San Cesario sulPanaro, Modena, Italy.

R&S, an Italian corporate finance boutique specialized in Distressed M&A, acted as financial advisor to Manitex in the acquisition of PM.

As a result of the debt restructuring and acquisition agreements signed, PM reduces the debt of approx. € 50 million and reschedules the remaining debt over 8 years period. The major challenge has been to align the interest of all the stakeholders.

Paolo Lisca is the Partner that led the team; Paolo has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking (most of which with BNP Paribas) and during the last 5 years he advised the restructuring of more than €1.5 billion of debt. LM

Agreements with the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India for the launch of the Pro Kabaddi League and arrangements with Star Sports to be the official broadcast partner

Mumbai saw a stunning start to the age old sport of Kabaddi, primarily due to the efforts of Mashal sports with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices providing quality legal advice.

The eight-city franchise-based Pro Kabaddi League has received official sanction from Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and Government of India. Kabaddi is a contact sport played in more than 30 countries.

Keeping in tune with the progress displayed by several other sports, the Pro Kabaddi League, which is a unique international professional league for the sport of Kabaddi being organized in India, was being telecast on Star Sports.
