Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering “RUBIN” (CDB ME “RUBIN”) is one of the leading com- panies on the market of non-nucle- ar submarines, and is affecting the world market to a considerable de- gree - both from financial and techni- cal point of view. CDB ME “RUBIN” has traditional and stable customers. Currently we can talk as well about tendency to growth of our segment of the market and extension of sup- ply geography.
Firstly, submarines of Project 636 are in stable demand. Secondly, project of the fourth-generation non-nuclear submarine Lada which is a base for
Project Amur, offered to different navies of the world, is successfully promoted. Thirdly, we successfully develop the market of services, with offering to the customers not just a submarine herself, but Simulating Complexes, Training Centres and a range of other useful options. We take on the repair and moderniza- tion of the submarines delivered by us. We appear at the submarine market with confidence. Orders of Russian Navy and the contracts con- cluded with navies of other countries provide workload of the Russian in- dustrial companies for several years ahead. Construction of the second boat of the Lada Project is under way at the Admi- ralty Shipyards
in large series, and, accordingly, has a well-tested technology and industrial engineering. For a customer-country it means reduction of submarine delivery time, decrease of technical risks, as well as all financial advan- tages of mass serial production.
