Holo-Krome has been at the forefront of fastener innovation

since 1929, pioneering cold-forging techniques that result in products virtually free of bursts, cracks, tears and fractures, offering superior holding strength and fatigue resistance. Since its acquisition of Holo-Krome in 2010, Fastenal has made major investments in the company by relocating the factory into an ultramodern manufacturing facility in Connecticut, USA, and invested in additional labour and machines. “This allowed Holo-Krome to expand its offer of producing per-print and reverse engineered parts with shortened lead times,” says Tim den Ouden. “Holo-Krome is now capable of producing various types of different head styles such as hex flange, 12-points and high strength hex bolts, all 100% made in USA Holo-Krome quality. With our very efficient logistics operations between USA and Europe we are able to supply at very competitive lead times compared to European manufacturers.” Icon Fasteners joins a select group of Holo-Krome Master
